Officially founded in 2008, the Slidell Ultimate Frisbee club has roots that reach back to the late ’90s when a group of runners from Slidell High would play make-shift games of ultimate between cross country and track seasons.

Back then we used to play with soccer goals instead of endzones and no one had ever heard of a hammer. How the times have changed in our little town.

Now the club is so big it has its own Facebook page, Twitter handle (@slidellultimate), website and traveling team. Hammers are the standard for many of our players, who come in all shapes, sizes, ages and genders. And we finally have the numbers to kick baseball and soccer teams off our fields!
